Cage: Quantic Dream’s PS4 Game Is “Very Different” From Heavy Rain And Beyond
According to the lead man at Quantic Dream, the studio’s in-development PS4 project is “very different” from previous work Heavy Rain and soon-to-be-released Beyond: Two Souls.
“The next game is still in pre-production,” Cage told Game Informer. “Beyond really took all our attention and resources.”

Cage teased a bit of info relating to the PS4 project, which hasn’t been officially revealed yet.
“We have a small team working on this next-gen project, on the tech, on the concepts and art.
“It’s very very exciting, something different from Beyond and Heavy Rain; building on the same grounds, but in a very different way,” he teased.
“People should expect to be surprised again, because this is really what we try to do with each game – not give people what they expect, [but] give them something they want maybe without knowing this is what they want,” said Cage.
Cage concluded by saying that his studio is “incredibly impatient to start working on it actively”.
Beyond: Two Souls will be out on PS3 on October 11, while the demo will release on October 2.
