Who Is The Best Dressed Videogame Character?
That’s right, baby, we’re getting faaaabulous this Friday.
My appreciation for videogame characters usually comes down to how multidimensional they are. Do they have morally grey personalities? Are their motives easily justified? Do they leave you thinking, long after you’ve played the game? To this extent we’ve had some amazing characters introduced to us this year. Think of Elizabeth from BioShock: Infinite, the new Dante (whom I still maintain is a good character) in DmC: Devil May Cry and Ellie from The Last of Us.

But more than just their personalities, motivations and exploits, I care about how they’re dressed, too.
What? Like you’ve never looked at a cosplay of Juliet Starling from Lollipop Chainsaw and thought, “Hot damn.” Or: The foundation for Jessica Nigri’s career in gaming.
Truth be told, I really like a well-dressed character and as such, I take great pride in my dressing, in whatever game I play. For example, in Dragon Age: Origins there are various armours sets which offer some really great benefits to my characters but I never, ever wear them because they look abhorrent. On the other hand, a vastly inferior unique armour will be equipped through most of the game just because it looks pretty.
I’m that kind of guy, sometimes.
While I’m not that much of a fan of cosplay, I do have an ambition to recreate Connor’s assassin outfit from Assassin’s Creed III because I think it is the sexiest outfit in all of gaming.
