Battlefield 4 To Utilise Kinect And SmartGlass Support
Here I sit, one of the few gamers untainted by GTA V. Onto Battlefield 4. Some time ago it was confirmed that Battlefield 4 would support Kinect head-tracking and at E3 it was shown that the game would be utilising second-screen functionality. Including SmartGlass features. Dice is now looking at a number of features including leaning using head-tracking and second-screen maps.
Speaking with Xbox Wire, executive producer Patrick Bach said, “Through SmartGlass, Xbox players will be able to view the overhead map during multiplayer matches and take advantage of the second screen Also, with Kinect, we’re looking into features that enhance the controls including peeking and leaning and tracking head movement as well as incorporating voice commands.”

With the developer still exploring options it’s doubtful whether these features will make the game’s November 29 release date but we’ll have to wait and see.
