What Grabbed You Most At Gamescom This Year?
We originally had this article planned for Friday morning last week, however the news broke of Ben Affleck playing Batman and we decided to go with that instead. Thus, we’ve opted to publish this article today as our question of the week, because why waste a perfectly good article, right? Here goes, completely unedited because we’re honest and lazy, that way.
Somewhere in Germany right now, a bunch of guys are getting together and conspiring. They’re planning a coup, you see. An invasion. They don’t like anyone who isn’t like them, and they want the world to know it. So this morning they’re going out and taking over… the show floor. At Gamescom. Where they’ll be invading the booth of the game that has most captured their imagination.

It’s the last day of Gamescom and as anyone who has ever attended a gaming expo will tell you, the final day is dedicated to getting in as many hours as you possibly can, with your favourite game from the show. For me at rAge last year, that game was DmC. Unfortunately, I didn’t get in as much time as I would have liked, but I got in enough to score a SS ranking while a crowd watched in awe.
At Gamescom 2013, I have to admit I’ve found most of the games and other offerings to be highly uninteresting, with the exception of the game in the header image above. That’s from The Witcher 3, in case you haven’t figured it out yet. It’s alright, it’s Friday; nobody’s really using their brain today.
We want to hear from you. What game most captured your heart at Gamescom this year? What game will you be dreaming about for weeks to come? Go ahead and comment and let’s talk games.
