What Do You Want To See At Gamescom?
My hands are currently powered by frostbite, not to be confused with the other Frostbite. Seriously, whenever I type it’s as if I’m jabbing the keyboard with a pickle attached to my knuckles. There will be typos. So because I’m freezing, here’s a question that has absolutely nothing to do with temperature.
Gamescom is tomorrow and many would argue that E3 is the big and glamorous showcase for developers and publishers to strut their games around like prized platypi while Gamescom is where the real details, gameplay and news on upcoming games gets dished out. I might even say that Gamescom is more about the games themselves than the marketing.

Sony, EA and Microsoft will all have keynote conferences tomorrow and the convention runs till the end of the week so there’s plenty that developers and publishers alike are eager to show and tell. Perhaps some new gameplay footage, fresh details, a new mode to be revealed. Possibly even a new game entirely for us to get excited about.
Personally, I’d love to see more of inFamous: Second Son as well as possibly a few PS4 exclusives being revealed. I’d also like to see more from Batman: Arkham Origins, and I’d definitely like to see more of what Microsoft’s Xbox One exclusives have to offer. Possibly a proper trailer for the new Halo, just because. Then there’s The Witcher 3, Mirror’s Edge and a host of other games which I won’t mention because otherwise I may as well not even bother asking this question.
I’m keen for Gamescom, are you? That’s a follow-up question by the way. So, what are you looking forward to seeing at Gamescom? Or rather, what are you hoping to see?
