“What am I working on, you ask? Good question. Sadly, I cannot tell you…yet. But I can say that it is freaking huge, and it will live up to the standards that I helped establish here at Santa Monica Studios,” he said.
Barlog previously left Sony in 2007 after completing his work on God of War II and writing some early concepts for its sequel God of War III on PS3 and its prequel God of War: Ghost of Sparta on PSP.
The man then spent some of his time away from Sony travelling, and also joined up with Crystal Dynamics on cinematics for the latest Tomb Raider game. There’s a sequel in the works for that one by the way.
To take a brief look at the latest, Sony Santa Monica released God of War: Ascension back in March this year, which was its most recent internal project. The studio is also currently teaming up with Ready At Dawn for the PS4 project The Order: 1866, which was unveiled at E3 in June.
