So, What Is Dead Island: Epidemic?
It’s not exactly a new entry in the Dead Island franchise, to my relief. Dead Island: Riptide for me was a glorified re-release of Dead Island. It was really an almost identical game to its predecessor, issues and all, and had the nerve to rip off consumers by charging full price. Gaming, hey?
Well, my complaints aside, Deep Silver has announced Dead Island: Epidemic, a new ZOMBA game set in the Dead Island universe. Hold the phone, you say. What is ZOMBA? Well, it doesn’t just sound funny, it also means something of course. Zombie Online Multiplayer Battle Arena.

Epidemic will put three teams of players against each other in a desperate fight for survival. It will be a free-to-play PC game that will feature all the trademark Dead Island elements.
