Project Phoenix Revealed, Prepare For A PS4 JRPG From Veteran Developers
PSU has uncovered a new Japanese role-playing game intended for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita that is currently titled Project Phoenix.
While it may be indie, it’s being made by veterans. Game director Hiroaki Yura is joined by a team whose members have worked on the Final Fantasy series, Halo 4, Crysis 3, LA Noire and Diablo III. This includes art direction work by Kiyoshi Arai of Final Fantasy XII and XIV and Final Fantasy series composer Nobuo Uematsu. Quite a credible team, isn’t it?

This massive indie title will soon launch on Kickstarter, with the team looking for $100,000 in funding. It’s intended for PC, Mac, Linux, iOS and Android. And it looks like PS4 and Vita is also on the cards.
PSU reached out to the team behind Project Phoenix, asking if the game is planned for PS4 and Vita.
“We certainly do plan to have Project Phoenix available on PS4 and PS Vita, but are still in the midst of final talks.
“Although we are 90% sure it will happen, we will not make an announcement yet until the contract has been signed.”
