Niko Bellic Is In GTA V Courtesy Of The Collector’s Edition
That’s not all, we’ve got a few other new details for you regarding Grand Theft Auto V’s Collector’s and Special Editions. There’s plenty of bonus content although it all seems to be in-game. Where’s my Trevor bobblehead that dispenses weed?
Here’s a list of what you can expect should you opt for a special/collector’s edition.
- You’ll Be Able To Play (Expensive) PS2 Games On Your PS4 Now | 2 months ago
- Jessica Jones Disempowers Its Male Characters And The Effect Is Refreshing | 2 months ago
- Hell Is 30 000 Deathclaws Tearing Through Boston And It’s Glorious | 2 months ago
- Sony Santa Monica Is Teasing Something Truly Strange | 2 months ago
Weapons – You’ll have access to the .50 Caliber Pistol and Bullpup Shotgun, each with their own customisation options and upgrades. There’s also the hammer for those times when you really need to nail your enemies.
Custom GTA Online Characters (Collector’s Edition only) – In addition to the standard set of characters for GTA Online (aka GTA MMO) you can use hereditary-based creation to craft your own unique character. It’s as simple as inputting your parents’ heritage and dialing in gene dominance depending on which parent you look most like. You can even customise how your character spends their day from family time to robbing ice-cream stalls. As if that’s not good enough, you’ll have access to Niko Bellic (GTA IV) and Claude, Misty (GTA III) as potential parents within the character creation system.
Stunt Plane Trials – Pretty much what it says on the box but you can compete against friends and completing challenges improves your player’s piloting skills.
Unique Garage (Collector’s Edition only) – A special place to park your rides which comes pre-stocked with the Carbon RS sports bike and the Hotknife, a 30’s hotrod.
In addition to all this there’s also recharge boosts on the characters’ special ability meters. Briefly, Trevor has rage which helps in combat, Franklin has reflexes for driving and Michael has focus for marksmanship. The Special Edition also offers players bonus tattoos and outfits.
It’s all very cool but where’s the artbook or steelcase or some quirky trinket?
