Gamescom 2013: You’ll Get What Free With An Xbox One Pre-Order?
Yeah I’m aware that the header image didn’t make it that much of a secret.
But there’s some pretty big news here. Microsoft are certainly widening their net of appeal, with a strong focus on Call of Duty and FIFA and other such massively appealing crowd-catchers. To some this may be an indication of the kind of demographic Microsoft is targeting with Xbox One, but that’s a debate for another day. No really, it is. Probably one we’ll have soon.

Right, to business then. During Microsoft’s Gamescom press conference today, the Xbox manufacturer revealed that every customer who pre-orders an Xbox One in Europe will receive a copy of FIFA 14 completely free.
How’s that for providing fanatics with an incentive to jump ship to next-gen?
This proves the rumours that were circling yesterday and matches Microsoft’s audience plans, as they made quite a number of other FIFA-related announcements for Xbox.
