Gamescom 2013: Mojang’s Cobalt Coming To Xbox 360 And Xbox One
Announced in 2011, Cobalt is the new game coming to Xbox 360 and Xbox One being released by, the developers behind Minecraft, Mojang. At Gamescom, the game has now been revealed to be coming to Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Mojang has taken developers Oxeye Game Studios under their wing and have helped them to further develop this game.
Cobalt is a 2D shooter platformer hybrid where up to 8 players can control robots and shoot one another with rockets, and can deflect them just as easily. Players can slide, roll and jump with their robots and deflect projectiles back at enemies. Bullet time is also included in the overall gameplay design and asks of players to intricately time shots at enemies and maintain momentum whilst making their way through platforming sections.
