Gamescom 2013: Killzone: Shadow Fall’s DLC Maps Are Free

During Gamescom today, there was a behind-closed-doors presentation for Killzone: Shadow Fall’s multiplayer functionality.
In it, Sony’s Guerilla Games confirmed that it has “extensive plans” to support its debut PS4 title after its release. That means Guerilla will be releasing a number of new maps after the game launches, and all of them will be made available to players completely free of charge.

Shadow Fall will feature 10 multiplayer maps when it launches on PS4 later this year. Details weren’t revealed as to when gamers can expect the free DLC maps to arrive. However, Guerrilla Games did mention that it already has a part of the team working on Shadow Fall expansions, which means that these free maps may be available soon after the game releases.
Killzone: Shadow Fall is a launch title for the PS4, so it will be out on November 29.
