Gamescom 2013: Infamous Won’t Launch Long After The PS4
The PS4 has a really, really impressive launch line-up. With titles such as Killzone: Shadow Fall ad Drive Club launching on day one, it should be a good day for those planning to wait in the lines or stare outside waiting for that delivery van. I mean, there’s even that little colourful platformer that looks like a tech demo for particle effects, what else could you possible want?
Oh right, Infamous: Second Son. Probably my most anticipated PS4 title, the sequel from developers Sucker Punch won’t be ready for the console launch, but that doesn’t mean you’ll be waiting that long for it either. Yesterday at Gamescom, a Sucker Punch representative confirmed that the Seattle set title will launch in February next year, meaning you’ll only really have to wait two months or so to unleash Delsin on the city around him.

The Infamous series surprised gamers worldwide with an extremely addictive title when the first one launch a few years back, with the subsequent sequel not exactly making the same impact but still deliver an extremely enjoyable experience. Second Son takes place seven years after the events of Infamous 2, and it is yet unknown how the two stories connect.
InFamous: Second Son will be exclusive to the PS4. Who else can’t wait for those sexy smoke effects?
