Deep Down Confirmed As A PS4 Exclusive, But There’s A Catch
Yesterday we got our first look since February at Capcom’s next-gen dungeon crawler, Deep Down. The game, which looked visually stunning at Sony’s reveal event, has been hiding in the dark since then, leaving many to wonder exactly what platforms it would be released for, as well as what type of game it will be. A short teaser trailer released yesterday has just answered both those questions.
But first, why not take a look at the trailer itself? Watched it? Creepy right? I’m all for an RPG, but one with some deep horror tones sounds even more intriguing.

More importantly, this latest teaser trailer confirms that Deep Down will in fact be a PS4 exclusive, after much speculation following the game’s absence from Microsoft’s reveal and E3 conference. More interestingly though is the “Capcom Online Games” logo which appears right at the end. Translations of the game’s Japanese sight have confirmed that Deep Down will be an online-only title, suggesting that it could be an MMORPG of sorts. Many are already speculating as to the format of the game; many already believe that the title will adopt a more expansive take on Dark Souls’ online component,
And hell, that does sound rather incredible to me.
