Gamescom 2013: Dark Souls 2 Is Going Into Beta
Dark Souls did something that not just any game is capable of. It managed to make a success of itself in a niche market for those who love ultra-challenging RPG’s. Dark Souls 2 is hoping to build on that and if you’re eager to get your hands on the game then you’re in luck… possibly.
The game will go into closed beta on October 5 for PS3 users in North America and Europe. IF you’re interested, be sure to check the game’s Facebook page from around 5 September.

The closed beta will “delve into one of the most treacherous areas” of the game, and will allow players toexperience “overwhelming enemy encounters, diabolical challenges, and the unrelenting difficulty that only the developers at FromSoftware can deliver.”
Dark Souls 2 is set for release next year on PS3 and Xbox 360.
