Entelect Software and NAG Magazine are hosting a 100K Challenge. This is essentially a gaming tournament that will test your artificial intelligence coding skills. “This is an inspiring and creative opportunity that not only has a huge winning incentive but is a lot of fun. This is for every red-blooded individual who enjoys a bit of competition and could picture themselves securing the prestige of developing the winning code – a great career starter,” says Michael James, Editor, NAG Magazine and Senior Project Manager on rAge.
Then, if coding AI isn’t your thing, Amazon Web Services will scouting for talent at the event. They are looking anyone and everyone that is interested in developing the company’s cloud technologies.
More on the competition side is Matrix Warehouse’s stand. Matrix is giving away a complete gaming computer worth R30,000.
But enough about PC stuff.
Console fans, Sony will be on-site where they will reveal the PlayStation 4. Alongside the PlayStation 4 reveal will be games, such as BEYOND: Two Souls, The Invizimals, Tearaway, and Gran Turismo 6.
Other games on show include Batman: Arkham Origins, Assassin’s Creed, F1, The Crew, Watch Dogs, NBA, and WWE. That’s a whole lot of great titles ready for play.
rAge 2013 will have its usual cosplay competition, hosted by LegionInk. Fans are encouraged to dress up, interact, and enter.
Lastly, there’s a murmur that Xbox will show off the Xbox One at the event as well. That means both next-generation consoles will be on-site for fans to test out–a great opportunity before deciding which console to buy.
