Would You Want A Gran Turismo Movie? Sony Thinks So
Things that I struggle to understand: concepts that start with ‘quantum’ and Sony.
In a confirmed report, Joystiq has noted that Sony are moving forward with a Gran Turismo movie. And it’s already in production–without any details revealed.

The movie will be produced by Michael de Luca and Dana Brunetti, both of which created The Social Network and Fifty Shades of Grey movies.
Brunetti tweeted that he has been looking forward to this project for quite some time. “One that I have been after for over three years. Finally.”
The Gran Turismo movie is expected to help the company cash-in on ‘fast car’ movies, such as The Fast and The Furious and the Need for Speed blockbusters.
All of this poses one question: why?
Surely Sony has other great intellectual property that it can turn into better movies. We know they do.
