Where Are You Going, Vault Hunter? Pandora Isn’t Done With You Yet
Borderlands 2 has had a rather strong run when it comes to post-launch DLC, with developers Gearbox Software learning from some of the mistakes, and success, made when releasing their season pass for the first title. We may have reached the end of the four DLC long season pass, but studio boss Randy Pitchford has announced that they’re not going to stop there.
In fact, Gearbox is ready to show off what’s coming next for the most dedicated Vault Hunters, announcing that they will reveal more DLC content for Borderlands 2 tomorrow. This comes after a surprising announcement earlier this month, when Pitchford revealed that Gearbox was hard at work on even more expansive add-on for the loot crazy shooter.

“We did a Season Pass for Borderlands 2, and the Season Pass was like, ‘hey, if you buy the Season Pass we’re going to be doing four campaign DLCs, but you can get all four of them for the price of three if you buy upfront.’ So everyone has this expectation that those would be the four DLCs and then that’s it. We’re going to do more. We’re going to do some other things.”
Recently, Gearbox launch Assault on Dragon’s Keep, which plunged players into an interactive game of Pandora’s version of Dungeons and Dragons, with everybody’s favourite explosive expert, Tiny Tina, as the game master. I mean, with ideas like that, it’s going to be very interesting to see what else Gearbox has up their sleeves.
I, for one, cannot wait to see it.
