GTA 5 PC Petition Closing In On 250k Signatures
It’s hard to believe that I initially reported on the petition to bring Grand Theft Auto V to PC back at the end of November last year, where it had just broken 40,000 signatures.
Now, many months later, the petition is about to hit 250,000 signatures.

Despite various leaks and whispers about a PC version over the months, there has been no official announcement, and currently the game is set only to release on PS3 and Xbox 360 worldwide on September 17.
Rockstar has previously stated that it has not ruled out releasing the game on other platforms, as the company said in November 2012 that GTA V PC and Wii U are “up for consideration”.
Since then, Rockstar hasn’t really said anything about a PC version again, but interestingly a recent Rockstar Leeds job listing called for a graphics programmer in order to help bring the studio’s latest games to PC. However, as soon as this job listing got picked up by the press, Rockstar removed it.
I would just like to point out that it took eight long months before Grand Theft Auto IV made its way to PC, although one of the studio’s more recent titles, Max Payne 3, took just two weeks.
There has also been some speculation that Rockstar plans to release PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game, although I’d wait for an official announcement on that one.
