13 Lucky Minutes Of Assassin’s Creed IV Exploration
Actually it’s more like 14 minutes. Like the pirates of the golden age, I’m full of half truths and deception. Now that you’re going to be here for an extra minute, we might as well stretch that out to be a little bit longer. We’ve seen plenty of what Assassin’s Creed IV has to offer, including its own homage to Sharknado.
We’ve even seen extended gameplay videos here and there but they’ve been single side-quests or naval battles. Yes, the naval gameplay looks great and it will certainly be great fun to explore all those tiny islands but what is the game like from minute to minute when you aren’t involved in some of the more bombastic parts of AC IV?

Well, we saw some of that at E3 and it was not only bugged but also bland and looked just like any other Assassin’s Creed affair. This video is a little bit more lively and shows us what it’s like to carry out a mission as protagonist Edward Kenway. It’s worth watching and features commentary from game director Ashraf Ismail.
AC IV: Black Flag is due out on PS3, PC and Xbox 360 in late October with a PS4 and Xbox One version to follow when those consoles launch.
