Watch Out For This God Of War IV Teaser Image, Which Looks Legit, But Is Most Likely Fake
A teaser image for an alleged new entry in the God of War franchise has broke out onto the web, and is causing quite a stir. Labelled “God of War: Redemption” it teases a new game for PS4 and Vita.
Now, by the time this article goes out it may well be officially debunked as fake, but I have strong reasons to believe that it is fake. The first, of course, is that God of War: Ascension came out in March this year, and I find it highly unlikely that a new game will be announced just over three months later. I also do not believe a game would be leaked so soon after E3 if it is ready to be shown.

But instead of my opinion, here is more compelling evidence you can see for yourself. In the blown up version of the image down below, take note that Sony’s “make believe” slogan is spelled incorrectly as “make belive”, an obvious typo. Furthermore, take note that in the first line, next to LLC, “Playstation” is typed without the capital S that is a standard part of the console’s name.
That’s about all I need to tell me it’s fake. Watch out for it. It achieved over one thousand degrees on gaming news portal N4G in quick time, and most likely is travelling around the web. By the time this article goes up, it may be debunked. Either way, here is a warning, or at the least a telling of the story.
