Tekken Revolution: The First Free-To-Play Fighter On PS3, Available This Week
Namco Bandai has come out and announced that Tekken Revolution will be a free-to-play game on PlayStation 3, only.
The game won’t only be free-to-play, but rather the first free-to-play fighting game on the console.

Unfortunately Namco Bandai has not yet released any details on how monetisation of the game will work, however one can expect DLC and purchasable characters as a means of generation revenue.
Inititally, however, the fighting game will launch with eight characters. And this is chiefly why speculation would lead to purchasable characters. Furthermore, Revolution is the first Tekken game to introduce character levelling, a feature that allows players to increase the strength, endurance and vigor stats of the various characters.
Tekken Revolution is scheduled to release on 11 June in the United States, and on the 12th of June in the rest of the world.
The game was scheduled to release on Xbox 360, however free-to-play elements seemed to be a problem. Therefore, Sony will be the exclusive host for the game.
