E3 2013: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Game Footage Shown, Vast Open World And Deeper Stealth Teased
Kojima Productions took the stage early on at Microsoft’s E3 conference and showed off the first in-game footage for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain on Xbox One.
It was announced that the game will be open-world and deliver “a new breed of stealth,” real-time weather, various modes of transport including tanks, jeeps and horses, and “tactical espionage.”

The game also features “realistic passage of time” and “deeper stealth action.”
The characters shown included a female sniper named Quiet, a boy called Eli, and Ocelot, Emmerich, Code Talker, and Skull Face.
The game will also have SmartGlass functionality.
Based on the game footage, which you can check out up above, I’m not too sure about the voice actor, and to be honest I was disappointed by this demo shown, as it really didn’t make the game look that appealing. This is my favourite game franchise of all time, and that’s what made it a bit depressing.
The visuals look beyond insane though.
The game will be out on PC, PS3, Xbox 360, PS4 and Xbox One. No release date is confirmed yet.
