E3 2013: Final Fantasy XV And XIV Announced For PS4
At Sony’s conference, Tetsuya Nomura greeted us with exciting news that Final Fantasy Versus XIII was alive and well, but that it was to be renamed Final Fantasy XV. Final Fantasy XV seems to be a huge departure from previous Final Fantasy games with a more action-oriented approach, instead of the typical turn-based combat systems that have come to characterise the franchise. The game was given no specific release date.
That was not the only announcement from Square Enix, with Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn being confirmed as heading to PS4. The game has been heavily worked upon from its previous iteration and will be re-released in this new form for not only PS4, but also for PS3 and PC. A Realm Reborn will be heading to PC and PS3 on August 27, and will be available on PS4 at a later date.
