E3 2013: Dead Rising 3 Unveiled, Game Footage Shown
Microsoft unveiled Dead Rising 3 at their E3 press conference, revealing it as an exclusive Xbox One title for this holiday season.
A bit odd since Dead Rising 2 was on PS3 as well, but as you were, that’s how it was announced. The game will feature a new hero, Nick Ramos, and is being developed by Capcom Vancouver and published by Microsoft.

Dead Rising 3 will continue the slaying of thousands upon thousands of zombies, and according the reveal has no load times, and anything can be a weapon with the crafting and upgrading systems. You’ll also have flare guns and other tools to distract zombies.
A new addition to the game is vehicles which players can drive freely, and according to the developers it is a “critical part of exploration.” However, you aren’t safe in your car as zombies will try to break your windows, latch onto the car and pull players out.
The game will feature SmartGlass integration, which can be used to call in artillery.
Dead Rising 3 will be a launch title for Xbox One.
