Xbox One Reveal Attracts Millions (Cue Dr Evil)
Admit it, you always say it in his voice too.
According to Microsoft, the Xbox One reveal which took place last week attracted more than 8.45 million people.

*Ahem* 8.45 million people.
Okay I feel better now.
That figure accounts for all viewers within the first twenty-four hours of the event, and is, again according to Microsoft, “one of the top-most concurrent streamed events of all time.”
The Akamai live stream actually set a record for concurrent viewership, beating out the 2010 World Cup, the 2011 Royal Wedding and even the 2012 US election. The Spike TV stream, which I was tuned into, boasted 1.73 million viewers. At 10am on May 21st, nothing was watched as much by men aged 18 – 34. Way to beat the stereotypes, guys.
And that’s all I’m saying on the Xbox One Reveal. Yes, that’s right, no rumours and speculation to be found here. Just some solid numbers and hard facts.
Did you watch the stream live or catch it later on, and in either case, where did you go to get your fix?
