An IGN Poll Results In 75% Of Voters Claiming To Be Disappointed With The Xbox One Reveal
Even I of all people am starting to get a bit over having nothing to talk about but negative things regarding the Xbox One. Alright that’s not entirely true, because this was a little interesting.
IGN recently revealed the results of a poll run by IGN UK, which came before the Xbox One reveal event and asked readers what they’d like to see at Microsoft’s event. According to the results, it looks like Microsoft basically did the opposite of what IGN readers voted.
- You’ll Be Able To Play (Expensive) PS2 Games On Your PS4 Now | 2 months ago
- Jessica Jones Disempowers Its Male Characters And The Effect Is Refreshing | 2 months ago
- Hell Is 30 000 Deathclaws Tearing Through Boston And It’s Glorious | 2 months ago
- Sony Santa Monica Is Teasing Something Truly Strange | 2 months ago
Another poll was held after the event itself, asking readers “What did you think of the Xbox One reveal event?” The poll, at the time of writing, has 77,182 votes. Almost 24% of voters were positive about the reveal, with around 6% saying it was fantastic and just over 17% saying it was solid and likable.
However, over 75% of the 77,182 voters felt that it was disappointing, with over 47% (nearly half) saying that the event contained too many elements that didn’t interest them, and around 29% flat out saying that it was a disaster.
Here is the evidence. Of course since this screen was taken by IGN, results have been altered, and the ones I posted up above are the most recent.
Microsoft definitely have to come out guns blazing at E3, and more significantly, give some clarification on some of the uncertainties surrounding the Xbox One.
