Which Game Made You Laugh?
Everything is so serious these days, you can’t even make a mildly offensive racist joke without people gasping in practised shock. Even games are so intent on being the most realistic, most immersive and most artistic forms of media out there that they never crack a smile. Of course, I just drank a truckload from the fountain of hyperbole but this is going somewhere.
Humour in games is rare, good humour is even more rare. Yes, there are games that make us laugh or cause us to burst out in hysterics at a funny glitch or unintended innuendo but when was the last time a game tried to make you laugh and succeeded?

I recently played Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time and while there was a concerted effort to keep things light-hearted and some of the humour wasn’t too bad, a lot of it was caked it pastiche. I suddenly crave pistachio ice-cream.
So really, my question to you is simple, which game had the best humour? Maybe it was a one-liner or a joke or a ridiculous parody. Anything. No, the comical way in which Lara takes Tom and Jerrry levels of abuse in Tomb Raider does not pass for attempted humour.
