No Underground Reboot Coming Soon
Last week EGM received an image from an anonymous sender that suggested a Need for Speed: Underground reboot was in the works at Burnout developer house Criterion. Many readers immediately called the image fake, with the logo featuring some rather obvious warning signs, but Criterion Games’ creative director Alex Ward chose to reply personally.
Speaking on Twitter, Ward confirmed that an Underground reboot was definitely not in the works at the development house. He then went further and suggested that the developers were done with reboots and sequels, suggesting that they could be working on a new project entirely.
