Jak And Daxter, Sly Cooper Collections Coming To Vita
It’s still sad owning a PlayStation Vita and trying to convince yourself that it was money well spent. Sony has yet to release anything notable for the handheld, but has promised numerous times that this year will see a rise in released Vita titles. So it’s a little bit promising to see at least two more new titles coming to the Vita soon.
Sadly though they aren’t exactly new titles. The HD Collections for Jak and Daxter as well as Sly Cooper have been rated by the ESRB for the PlayStation Vita, which all but confirms their arrival on the handheld in the future. In fact, Sony has already confirmed the Jak and Daxter HD Collection, while Sly Cooper has only been rated by the ESRB. The Jak and Daxter Collection is said to incorporate new touch controls for some of the minigames spread across the three titles, as well as full trophy support.

However, this isn’t exactly news that PS Vita owners might have been looking for. Both of these collections were released for the PS3 nearly over a year ago, but there seems to be no plans for Cross-Buy capability for those who already own the collections., Furthermore, Sony is planning to charge $30 for the collection in the United States, where most retailers are already selling the PS3 version for nearly $10 less.
So like I said, it’s still not a great day to be a PS Vita owner. But hell, at least you didn’t buy a Wii U.
