Got Forty Minutes To Watch Some Fuse Gameplay?
Fuse started out life known as Overstrike, a tongue-in-cheek action game for the masses, before being rebranded with more or less the same characters, meaning the plot was kept somewhat intact. And therefore my interest in the game has lingered.
But since the rebranding, we’ve not really been given much to go on besides the odd teaser from developer Insomniac Games, whom you might know from the Resistance series, most recently. That is until now. If you would kindly follow this link to the developer’s Twitch.TV archive, where you will get a forty minute long video in which they take you through the early levels of the game, explaining things along the way…

The site offers no external embed options and I’m not keen on trying to pull one from the page source, so, link, okay? Cool.
Fuse is just a few weeks away now, with a European release scheduled for May 31st, delayed from the original March release apparently due to a series of last minute changes but I’m going to guess more because they were smart enough to not compete with games the likes of Tomb Raider and BioShock Infinite. Especially considering the mid-tier nature of this game.
Does it do anything for you? Does it… light your fuse? (What?)
