GameStop Survey Says PS4 Is More Desirable Than Smartphones
According to a new questionnaire by retailers GameStop, Sony’s PlayStation 4 is the most desirable gadget of 2013 among gamers. Keep in mind that this survey was just done for GameStop’s audience.
However, the PS4 was noted as the most anticipated machine with 34 percent of the survey panel showing an interest in buying it, and that’s higher than smartphones (23 percent) and tablets (22 percent), which is pretty impressive.

To be the realist again, we don’t really know how the survey was done, and to say again the audience was GameStop customers, so we don’t know how the consumer market at large feels about the PS4. That said, it’s still more to show that the PS4 is attracting attention and has been doing nicely for itself.
GameStop also said that nearly 900,000 consumers have signed up to receive the retailer’s early info on PS4, which means it’s being followed. The console will be launched at the end of this year.
