Dead Island: Riptide Goes Gold And Drops A Short TV Spot
Dead Island: Riptide was never meant to be a true sequel but rather just a game about having some fun killing zombies with friends, and to that extent Techland are definitely playing to their strengths following the reception of the first game, which shocked the world with its debut trailer but did nothing else to follow it up, leading to an underwhelming overall experience, but, in the eyes of many, a really good cooperative romp.
With Riptide now having gone gold, the developers have dropped a new TV Spot for the game, which aired quite fittingly during the season finale of The Walking Dead season 3, last Sunday. That video is embedded above, for your viewing pleasure. It’s really short and doesn’t really do much at all, in truth.
