Bethesda Will Be Noisier This Year
In 2012, Bethesda published Dishonored and Doom 3: BFG Edition. Not exactly a massive stable of titles but it did keep titles such as Skyrim alive with DLC expansions. Regardless, for any publisher that would be considered a quiet year and so Bethesda is looking to make 2013 a little bit busier.
In a recent episode of the OXM Podcast, company vice-president Pete Hines said, “I think you’ll hear us making considerably more noise this year than we did last year, as a publisher.” Given 2012’s scarce offerings, besting that shouldn’t be hard but Hines seems to be confident that what the publisher has in the works at present will be pretty big, “We will be announcing new stuff and making some noise, and I think when we get the chance to show you guys what we’re up to, that you’ll sit up and take notice.”

It’s an ambiguous set of statements from Hines but with Elders Scrolls Online set to release later this year could we be looking at Fallout 4 or possibly some concrete information on Prey 2? All this talk of noise makes it pretty clear that whatever else they may announce, Bethesda is working on an RPG with rhythm-based gameplay elements. Possibly following the adventures of Kanye West as narrated by Jay Z.
