The Walking Dead: The Game Season 2 Will Be Out In Q3 This Year
There was a small little rumour circulating late yesterday that had every Walking Dead fan down in depression. Apparently Telltale Games had revealed in an interview that Season 2 of their stellar story-driven adaptation of The Walking Dead would only be out next year, forcing fans to go through 2013 without any undead fun. Thankfully though, there seemed to have been a misunderstanding, as Telltale has mended their initial statement.
Speaking to IGN, a spokesperson from Telltale Games confirmed that Season 2 of The Walking Dead would be out later this year, somewhere in Q3 (Fall in the United States).

“The current estimated release window for Season Two of The Walking Dead is for Fall of ‘this’ year (2013), and not ‘next’ year (2014) as has been reported after a recent interview. We apologize for any confusion and thank you and all of our fans for your continued excitement for the series!”
Not only is this news extremely exciting, but it also make me wonder about the “content” that Telltale promised would release before Season 2 in order to keep fans entertained until it releases. When exactly will this additional content release? Will it act as a prequel to the new season?
Either way, it’s more Walking Dead content coming from developers that clearly grasped what the series was all about in the first season, and absolutely cannot wait to see what they have in store for us.
