Left 4 Dead 2 X Resident Evil Adds More Zombies To An Already Awful Game
Resident Evil 6 was one of the worst titles released last year. I detested every moment I spent with it, which I clearly laid out in our review, and I pity people who actually spent good money on a franchise we keep hoping will shine again one day. That said, it’s a bit surprising to be reminded that Resident Evil 6 still hasn’t launched on PC. While Capcom was so busy trying to tweak and fix the mess they released, the PC crowd was made to suffer, or at least made to wait for the suffering that is spoon being unleashed onto them.
The PC version of Resident Evil 6 comes prepped with all the console updates and tweak, but now Valve has partnered up with Capcom to give gamers something a little extra. Introducing the Left 4 Dead 2 X Resident Evil 6 crossover, now with….more zombies, who would have guessed. In a free package to PC-gamers, this crossover will feature Left 4 Dead 2 heroes Coach, Ellis, Rochelle, and Nick as playable characters in Resident Evil 6’s PC-exclusive No Mercy mode.

Additionally, Left 4 Dead 2 players will also be able to find new types of zombies scurrying about in their game, ripped straight out of Resident Evil 6. Resident Evil 6 enemies Lepotitsa, Napad, and Ogroman will be available in Left 4 Dead 2 sometime this spring, recreated by Valve using Steam Workshop tools.
It’s not nearly enough to justify putting yourself through Resident Evil 6, but it’s a decent sentiment nonetheless.
