Incredible Unreal Engine 4 “Infiltrator” Tech Demo Leaks
It may have leaked a mere few hours before it’s official release at GDC, but this Unreal Engine 4 tech demo is something you want to see right now. Titled “Infiltrator” the demo does a good job of demonstrating what we can expect in terms of next-gen visuals, on PC’s and next-gen consoles alike.
The tech demo has been shown off to press and developers behind closed doors, but just a few minutes ago it made its way onto the internet, a few hours earlier than Epic was planning on. Good thing they don’t seem to mind, as none of the videos have been taken down in preparation of an official launch, with Epic VP Mark Rein taking to twitter to explain more about what we’re looking at.

RT @thijsvandertuin: @MarkRein you guys spilled the beans on the specs running this awesome video? <-single off-the-shelf Nvidia GTX 680
I’m not sure if it’s just me, but that’s incredibly impressive on a single GTX 680. Sure, it’s a powerful card, but have you seen watched the video above. If the Unreal Engine 4 is capable of delivering visuals of that calibre without a massive jump in hardware required, we could be looking at a strong start for next-gen titles.
Well, at least PC gamers will be, because it will mean we don’t have to immediately start worrying about upgrades just yet.
