If Paintball Were An Online Multiplayer Game
This is actually a really old video but since I stumbled upon it (in the most internet-like of ways) once again, I thought I might share it with you all today. You know, since it’s off-topic Friday and all that.
Have you ever played paintball with friends and thought that it would make for a pretty epic multiplayer experience? Most likely you closed your eyes and pretended you were in a real-life game of Call of Duty… until a friend shot you in the balls and the pain became all too apparent.

This video is shot from the spectator-perspective of a hypothetical player, as they observe the chaos unfolding around them. You’ll want to pay attention not just to the fact that this video seems to be shot in one go (it isn’t), but also the player names, the movements and of course, the chat window on the bottom right. It doesn’t feel more like an authentic online multiplayer experience than this.
If you haven’t seen this before then definitely do check it out now and tell us what you think about it.
