Gaming In 2063
I am totally stealing the following idea from a movie. Let’s call it our guessing game for this lovely, hopefully not too blue, Monday.
For now, I ask you to mentally leave the office, workplace and / or home to the land of make belief. If it’s possible, please place some sort of mechanism that triggers a little bell or provides you with an electric jolt when management is nearing your office. The last thing we need today is someone getting fired for dozing off while on duty. If you are operating heavy machinery, please, put down any and all devices, maintaining focus on the deadly equipment. Perhaps reading this during lunch would be more preferable? We don’t need people fused with machinery due to brave reading habits.

Will the gamers then react to our most beloved and cherished titles like the concept sketch of a puppet show to some people today?
Visuals are not the only thing we should take into account here; we should think about the actual gameplay. For all we know, the folks from 2063 are sitting stock still, while playing the game(s) in their mind.
Not the easiest of predictions, I tell you that. Who knows? Will there even be a 2063? For all we know, the human colonies are living on their favourite planet nearest to Proxima Centauri while stick insects with laser toenails roam the Earth as conquerors…
