Lego Marvel Super Heroes Announced, Developer Video Released
It’s the LEGO title I’m sure all fans were waiting for, and it looks like the prayers have been answered as Warner Bros. has just recently announced that Lego Marvel Super Heroes is in development over at Traveller’s Tales. This title, of course, is in addition to TT’s Lego City Undercover.
The game will be out in Autumn 2013 for PC, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, Vita, 3DS and DS, and it promises to “bring the characters, vehicles and action of Marvel’s renowned universe to the world of Lego build-and-play adventure”.

It’s been confirmed that the game will feature more than 100 unlockable Marvel characters, although only a handful have been revealed so far, and that as is the staple of the series, it will mix family-friendly action and puzzle-solving with the series’ popular humour and charm.
The press release gives a little more to go on, reading as follows:
“Lego Marvel Super Heroes offers an original storyline in which Nick Fury calls upon Iron Man, the Hulk, Thor, Spider-Man, Wolverine and other heroes spanning the Marvel Universe to save Earth from such threats as the vengeance of Loki and the hunger of Galactus, Devourer of the Worlds.”
