This Week In Indie: Bundles Galore And More Bundles
The past week has been the week of bundles for indie games, and I took it upon myself to write about some of those bundles this week. Most of these bundles make it in time for the festive season and are reaching for the last vestiges of money you may have lying around.
- Life, The Universe And Gaming: Playing Hero Is Boring | 1 week ago
- Microsoft To Get More Aggressive Pushing Windows 10 Upgrade In 2016 | 2 weeks ago
- GTA Online Has Become Spoopy | 2 weeks ago
- Review: Halo 5: Guardians Lockes Down The Gameplay Experience Masterfully | 2 weeks ago
The first bundle we’ll be taking a look at is the Winter Bundle from the folks over at Indie Royale. This bundle will last through until the 10th of December and features six indie games for the minimum of $5.32, and you receive two soundtracks for the games Leave Home and They Breathe. If you pay $8 or more you can unlock another album. The games included in the bundle are: Greed Corp, Hamelt, BIT.TRIP Runner, Conquest of Elysium 3, Leave Home, and They Breathe (+ DLC). Most of the games are available on Windows and Steam, with BIT.TRIP Runner and Conquest of Elysium 3 being the only games available for Mac users. Keep on the look out for the Christmas bundle from Indie Royale which will also be released in a few weeks.
The second bundle we’ll be talking about is the Be Mine 6 Bundle which was released by the guys over at Groupees. This bundle is marketed as a games and music bundle. This bundle works in a tier structure with the minimum being $1 followed by a $5 bracket, with additional incentives added when the number of bundles sold increases. This is the breakdown:
Eschalon: Book I
Enclave Gold 2012 Edition
Monarchy (music album)
Comfort (music album)
Special Collection (music album)
Men of War: Condemned Heroes
Dawn Of Fantasy – with official soundtrack
Two Worlds Epic Edition – with official soundtrack
So far there have been 7000 bundles sold, and there are an awesome amount of incentives for any type of buyer interested in the indie scene, and this bundle by extension. Most of the games are available on Steam and Desura. So if you are interested do check it out.
The final bundle we’ll be looking at is from Bundle In A Box and is called Eclectic Delights. If you pay a minimum of $0.99 your purchase will include: Shadows of the Vatican: Act I, Delve Deeper (complete with DLC), War of the Human Tanks, Eversion and Fibrilation. If you beat the average of $2.70 you can receive more rewards and extras such as: The Adventures of Shuggy, Stay Dead, The 4th Wall and Flibble. There is even more than what I’ve listed available. Just head over to the website through the link provided, and you can see for yourself. Most of the games on offer are available through Steam and Desura. There is very little Mac support in this bundle. This is a varied bundle with a lot to offer, and with many incentives. If you’re at all interested, I suggest having a look at the website, and perhaps buying a bundle. This is a great find.
Well that’s it for this week. I hope your weekend is awesome and filled with indie goodness as always. Remember to keep it real and indie. See you next week.
