Metal Gear Solid HD Collection Delayed

Sadly, it seems that we will have to wait a few months to get our hands on the highly anticipated Metal Gear Solid HD Collection. Konami announced yesterday that the release date for Europe (and therefore, us) has been pushed back all the way to February 3rd 2012, while North America will still be getting theirs on November 8th.
The Collection includes Metal Gear Solids 2, 3 and Peace Walker, as well as Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 (the series’ origins). You’ll be able to play Peace Walker on either PSP or PS3 with the same save.

If you buy the limited Ultimate HD Collection, you’ll also get a code to download the original MGS from PSN and Metal Gear Solid 4. Now that’s what I call a HD Collection.
Maybe this is also a blessing in disguise, considering how broke November is going to leave most of us. Now you won’t have to worry about leaving poor old Snake out. If you own an Xbox 360, then you shouldn’t really be considering missing out on this collection. Actually, you shouldn’t be missing out on this collection at all. It is Metal Gear Solid after all.
