Mass Effect 3 Demo Will Be Jumping Space Soon
Bioware have now made all our days. A Mass Effect 3 demo will become available early in the new year, according to a post by the game’s official twitter feed. This tweet was later confirmed by Bioware on their official forums, with the additional news that anyone who purchases Battlefield 3 will get early access.
According to Bioware’s Jessica Merizan, Battlefield 3 will come with an online access code that can be redeemed for early access to the multiplayer portion of the demo.

“Redemption of the Online Pass for Battlefield 3 will unlock this early access. Owners of Battlefield 3, on any platform, who activate their Online Pass will automatically be granted early access to the multiplayer portion of the Mass Effect 3 demo. There is no need to enter any other codes, the early access will be applied to the EA Account associated with the Online Pass. This applies to all regions where the demo is released.”
Merizan added that the demo’s specific release date will be announced in late November. At the same time, other ways to earn early access to the demo without a purchase will also be announced.
It is yet to be announced just how much earlier you can access the beta through Battlefield 3, but one thing that is know is that the single-player portion of the demo will only be available when the full demo releases in January.
Bioware provided details about the new multiplayer mode last week, but it isn’t immediately clear how much of that content will be in the demo. Specific platforms haven’t been announced for the demo, but the game is set to release on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC when it hits stores.
So the new year is already set to start off with a Mass Effect bang. Having tried this out at rAge, I can honestly say that everyone should be extremely excited for this, especially since we will be able to see the multiplayer features at work. Does this news influence your decision to buy Battlefield 3?
