BioShock Infinite — In “Incredibly Terrific Shape”

Rapture has come and gone, pun most definitely intended, and now all focus has shifted to the airy, psychedelic setting of Columbia, and BioShock Infinite, a game that has the entire gaming world excited at its development and positively bursting with anticipation for the next in gaming’s greatest portrayal of ‘art’ and plasmids.
Nobody seems more excited about it than publisher Take-Two, which said on its annual earnings call last night that Irrational’s game is in “incredibly terrific shape”.

When asked about the strength of the BioShock series, Take-Two chief operating officer Karl Slatoff said: “When you’re selling over eight million units in a franchise it’s a fantastic thing.”
He went on, like all interviewees tend to do: “It is fantastic having [series creator] Ken [Levine] re-engaged,” adding, “Ken is obviously doing something very different with the franchise that hasn’t been done before, and that’s a good thing. It’s a highly, highly creative endeavour, and we’re thrilled to be in business with Ken and having him at the helm again at BioShock.”
Irrational Games released a few screenshots as well as some fresh details just this week.
